Welcome to Laurelwood Glen located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina! Come and enjoy the natural setting of Laurelwood Glen on its three acres just 15 minutes west of beautiful downtown Asheville, NC. Laurelwood Glen is a 2400-square-foot, custom-built, log home with a spacious master suite and unique open lofts which can accommodate up to 10 guests. Step outside onto the wraparound deck with an Infinity hot tub, gas barbecue grill, log swing, patio set and private woodland views.
The home's large living room has a soaring cathedral ceiling and features unique lodge pole furnishings and numerous examples of our own personally hand-crafted log artistic creations. Additionally, there is an antique 1800’s cast iron parlor stove, a 52” flat screen TV, air conditioning unit and leather sleeper sofa. The fully equipped kitchen has distinctive wormy chestnut cabinetry and dishwasher. The large central island is a great focal point for preparing gourmet meals and entertaining gatherings of family and friends.
The spacious master suite includes a massive king-sized lodge pole pine bed, armoire and dresser plus a deluxe comforter set and Jacuzzi tub in the master bath. Three additional sleeping areas are located upstairs and share a second full bathroom with an antique claw foot tub. Relax and unwind with the available exercise glider, reversible pool table & air hockey, board games, books and more. Also, note many original photographs artfully framed in chestnut oak barn wood throughout.
